Poll
Question:
Which Wisconsin team do you dislike the most?
Option 1: Badgers
votes: 72
Option 2: Brewers
votes: 3
Option 3: Bucks
votes: 4
Option 4: Golden Eagles
votes: 4
Option 5: Packers
votes: 39
WGN had a poll on during the cubs/brewers game last night asking Cubs fans which Wisconsin team they disliked the most. I wanted to see what the results would be here. If i recall, packers got about 60%, brewers 25%, then MU with 9% (many cubs fans are depaul/nd alums), then badgers, then bucks. Wisc MU alums, sorry not trying to be an a-hole here -- just copying the WGN poll for curiosity's sake.
As a non-IL alum and in an attempt not to skew the results can you make the results available to be viewed without voting?
sure, sorry about that.
I saw this last night on the broadcast and I was surprised that the Packers didn't get a higher total. As a native Chicagoan, I must be the exception in that I don't hate any of the Wisconsin teams. I'm not a huge Bears fan, so that's probably why I don't hate the Pack. I'll vote against the Badgers as I despise them when they play Marquette, but otherwise I don't root against them the way I do the Yankees, U of Miami, or any team with Curt Schilling.
I thought this poll was completely retarded. I'm a Cubs fan, but seriously...piss on WGN, and their ND (they booed Charley Weis the other day--didn't you morons push to hire him in the first place?!) and UofI loving viewers. Certainly there are better poll questions, like, "Which celebrity "singer" did the most to completely disgrace Harry Caray's 7th inning legacy?"

Been done. I'm sure the majority of votes were Len Casper spites.
pretty sure the question was actually 'which team do you like the least?'

Completely indifferent here but it seems like a valid poll to me. The Cubs are playing the Brewers therefore WI sports are relevant and its a mostly Cubs audience so they most likely are not WI sports fans. I'm not so sure where you're issue with the poll is. From my perspective I'm mildly interested to see how Cubs fans think.
Also, who's the one vote for MU? Isn't this an MU forum?

Just a theory, but since the MU choice says "Golden Eagles", I'm sure PRN or someone like him might vote for that choice. If it said Marquette or Warriors, I'd guess it would be a different vote.
Of course, we do have a few badger fans that stop by occasionally too.

Haha, PRN hasn't been here for months but is still blamed for everything.

I think Harry did a pretty good job disgracing himself. He was a caricature of himself.
Yes. PRN has not been here for months, or hasn't created new any alias' either

I didn't bring him up. Don't assume we all loved his Budweiser laced broadcasts either.
I don't hate Wrigleyville. It is one of the best places to go for a ballgame. Its like Summerfest with a ballgame in the middle of it. If you got rid of the bandwagon jumpers it would be even better.

You do know that Harry never drank more than 3 or 4 times during a broadcast? He had his Budweiser cup filled with Sprite usually.
He was more fun when he drank Falstaff at Comiskey Park and the Brewers were still in the American League.
I'd have to say the Bucks. But that's only because I despise the NBA
