Sophomore Liam McMorrow discusses his journey to Marquette, his late growth spurt and the role hockey/lacrosse have played in his development athletically. McMorrow willl redshirt as a transfer in 2008-09 and have three years of eligibility remaining.

Well spoken but at 21 years of age I would expect that. He just sounds Canadian. Gotta like that.

Sounds like there's some toughness in the family which he'll need to not only compete in the Big East but also fend off the shots he'll take from some MU fans.

I think this guy has great potential.  He seems to have the mind of a guy who understands his strengths, and is taking full advantage of a great opportunity; I'm excited about where he'll be a year from now. The fact that he hasn't played much is a non-issue.  Nice interview. He might follow Wes as our next media natural.
