2011 PG
our loss. too bad we don't have anyone on the board with influence.
Thats a shame. He will be a very highly rated PG when he is a senior, and his Dad likes Buzz and the hire. Theres three years though for a change of heart, but Univ of Florida has very nice scenery.
Better than Indiana.

Not as nice as FSU...
The kid lives in Florida. Why go north? Smarter than his brother.

His brother was accepted into GU, that's got to be 500 SAT points higher tha UF's ave.

So were Allen Iverson and Patrick "we make a lot of money because we spend a lot of money" Ewing
MU never had a real shot at him anyway. Besides if Donovan wants the instate talent, that's pretty hard to compete against. As for Doc, he's fallen into the dark hole rhetoric that so many in the public eye fall into. Rivers has been away from Marqutte for too many years, Board or no Board. Seems like he's a graduate of the Tom Crean School of BS.
Pretty ironic. Doc liked Buzz enough to recommend him to the board, but not enough to recommend him to his own kid.

He may have, right? But maybe Austin liked FL better.
Good luck, Austin.

Obviously UF is not Georgetown but UF is a very good academic school... FSU on the other hand...more of a party school.
If a talented young basketball player would rather stay close to home, play for a two-time national championship coach and program, instead of committing to his dad's alma mater, which is 1000+ miles away, is cold in the winter, has no football team, and has a new coach without much of a track record, I say we criticize and ridicule him. Who's with me? Seriously, I don't think this matters one way or another.
I'm stunned that a kid who grew up in Florida would want to play for the home-state school, especially after it just won two national championships, had six players selected in the last two NBA drafts and has one of the most successful coaches in the game leading the way rather than travel 1,200 miles from home to go to his dad's alma mater.

Gainesville is way better than Tallahassee. And it is just a couple hours to Orlando or Tampa.
Generally, the kids are going to select the schools. Usually parent input has to do with playing close to home.

Florida or Milwaukee??? Please, its a no brainer. Florida in a heartbeat.
Sounds like he's showing his brother up for not committing to UF when he had his chance!

UF is much better. Austin's sister is a star volleyball player at UF too.
Only disappointment is not stating MU was a final school and waiting a year or two. Having MU name mentioned would have been good. He will be top 20 recruit come SR. year.

I was actually referring to the coeds...FSU is dangerous, you tend to hurt your neck just hanging out around campus.

As someone who regularly visits both campuses, I would take UF in a heartbeat for eye-candy. That being said, FSU is way above the average school.
are you kidding me - milwaukee chicks are hot.
