"One of the elite backcourt players in the nation. Uncanny ability to play the position. With added bulk his scoring numbers should ascend. Tremendous passer with great feel, vision, ability to find teammates. Makes sound decisions and is a graceful player."

syracuse's to lose, sounds like
that's 2 five star recruits added on scout today...
last time that happened....?????????????
?-(
pretty good company for Buzzbomb
Zona is listed as high interest because Gaddy was a Zona commit who backed out after all the assistants left. Right now they are not the leader and he is wide open because he really committed to Zona due to Josh Pastner, hence Memphis being involved with him.
He's said he doesn't have a leader, and MU is one of the 5 schools going after him the hardest. Plus, MU is also involved with Avery Bradley, Gaddy's high school teammate and best friend. There's been several times they've mentioned how much they would like to play together in college, and it's not like Bradley is a slouch. Scout has him as 4-stars and #36, Rivals has him at 5-stars and #17.
Buzz-
dust off the 2 fer 1 special and get these guys sitting down at the table!
a 5 star PG and his tagalong sidekick at 4 stars?
wellllllllllll
Buzz: "what ceiling"
Its Marquette, Its Marquette!
at least he's shooting for the stars. and that way if he falls short, he can still get the moon...corny, ik
Is that line from A Knight's Tale? :D

Who are the other four? I hear Wall will most likely end up at Memphis which would help our chances. If Buzz can somehow pull this off it would be a huge "Hello World" for Buzz and our program. Is there a quote somewhere of his top 5? Just Gaddy's consideration has already made my day

Other four besides MU are Arizona, Cal, Texas and Memphis.
The quote is in a premium article on another site, so I can't quote it here.
Buzz is either the greatest promoter or he is promising the moon. Either way I do not care. Keep getting studs interested and eventually they will come. Players win games 95% of the time. Keep raising the bar and things will be awfully good in two years.
on that list I worry about Texas the most... Arizona is likely out... if Memphis gets Wall then they are out, and then that leaves Cal who I think we could beat out... Texas however I think will most likely get him... but that is just a hunch here

Agree with everything you say here. But if by some miracle Buzz lands him the 2009 class would be just as good if not better than James + McNeal + Matthews, and we should keep right on truckin' in the Big East.

Great pointr......Maymon and EWilliams are the kind of players MU never used to get -- athletic combo/SFs. Talk about a roster re-make. And Buycks - - despite only getting two years of him -- is potentially a perfect replacement for McNeal and/or Wesley.
All of that and Buzz still has two tenders left.

Not Cal it is Josh at Memphis....follow the bouncing assistant.....
I think Cal is California in this case.
If Memphis lands #1 PG Wall they won't get Gaddy along with him so I think your bouncing assistant approach may be off. I have no idea what our chances with this guy are and I hope I'm not getting my hopes up for nothing.
I wouldn't rule out Cal though as its a lot closer to home for him in Washington than Milwaukee or Austin. Whatever Buzz is selling to even have this kid considering us is something I want a sip of. I wish I could afford some of the premium articles to get a better idea but those tuition costs keep rising.
