A good article (not really an article, but anyways) in milwaukee magazine, with a march madness bracket of milwaukee icons. Al McGuire made the final four, with the lakefront 'winning'. Sounds like it was just an office pool, but interesting nonetheless. Miller didn't even make it out of the first round

In no way does Frank Zeidler beat Henry Maier--if for only one reason: Maier started Summerfest.
Nice to see some of the things Milwaukee has to offer, even if I disagree with a bunch of stuff in the "bracket". I've lived here for a few years now and still really don't think I know enough about the city. I don't mind the Lakefront, and I go running there often. But it would probably help convince me it's #1 if the lake itself weren't disgusting.
Maybe I don't get art, but I don't see how the Calatrava beats anything after the first round.

Zeidler was the last Socialist mayor, and Milwaukee loves it's socialist mayors.
The only problem that I have is that it should have been called Brewcketology and that Al should have won...but then again, I am quite biased!
