Any word on this guy...

Ugh. What that article doesn't mention is the reason Parrom is switching high schools.....just the minor fact that the kid got arrested for punching his coach. You'd think something like might warrant mentioning. Stay away, stay very far away.
As always,
Thanks for the insight BMA, I was thinking we might be out of the SF market for some time due to our recent Maymon signing but adding in this guy's Sprewell-like behavior makes it evident that we should keep our distance.
Nobody is backing off of Parrom. Not sure you really want to be in the boat of "if everyone is doing it, it is alright" but there hasn't been a backlash like you'd expect.
If this is what it takes to get a strong look from Omari Lawrence, then Buzz may just keep on him. Lawrence has the goods to succeed at this level and landing him would be a very good coup for Buzz.
MU might just stick in this recruitment for some time or as long as they have a lead on Lawrence. Buzz' first 2009 commit comes with some question marks so if they see Parrom's actions as an isolated incident I'd see no reason why Parrom is any worse on the risk scale.
He punched his high school coach. The coach was the brother of Orlando Antigua, the assistant head coach at PITT. Orlando Antigua just left for Memphis and to say the least, PITT now has no interest anymore in Parrom.
Take a good look at Omari Lawrence though.
Memphis may have an interest though.
