Good thoughts for Earl TatumWritten by: noreply@blogger.com (mu_hilltopper)(http://wiki.muscoop.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/mubobblehead_tatum_w.jpg?cache=cache&w=250&h=621)
Cracked Sidewalks Central got an email today about Marquette Great, Earl Tatum (http://wiki.muscoop.com/doku.php/men_s_basketball/earl_tatum).
His daughter reports:
QuoteThe family of William Earl Tatum would like to inform you of his recent hospitalization due to a mild stroke. Earl is strong willed and determined to get better. He would like to tell all to "Take care of yourself, watch your blood pressure and cholesterol levels".
It would lift his spirits if you could call or send a card. He is just beginning the road to recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts.
Sincerely,
Jenay Tatum (daughter)
My wife previously worked with Earl's wife, and I've met Earl a number of times as he sat a few rows down from me at the Bradley Center. Great guy, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Spend a moment and shoot some good thoughts towards Earl and the Tatum family.

Earl - a true warrior! You will be in our prayers
He had a great senior year, leading the Warriors to a regional final against undefeated, eventual national champion Indiana. Would have scored a lot more points if there had been a 3-pt shot in those days.
Our prayers are with Earl and his family.
You are in my thoughts and prayers Earl.
The prayers of the whole MU community are with you Earl. Godspeeed to you for a quick recovery.G
absolutely shocked!... spoke w/ Earl by phone 2 days ago- talked about how he keeps in such good shape. He and his family are dear friends.
Get well soon Earl. Loved it when called Earl a black Jerry West. Pretty good compliment and very deserving. One of the school's all-time greatest players.
Earl, thinking of you and yur family. Get well soon.
