Sportsbubbler posted the press conference for Jeronne Maymon. I could definitely see how Bo could have been turned off by Mr. Maymon, he's a bit overzealous.

Eso--Tough day for ya buddy....Buzz landed a stud.
He's just a kid, give him a break. He seems alright to me. His dad sure is happy holding that Jeronne+Marquette sign the whole time haha.
Good job for Buzz getting interest from Jeronne in such a short time.
I was referring to the father....Jeronne actually seems like a really humble guy, I think some guys like Wilson really like the recruiting/attention and then there are others like Maymon who kind of get of get turned off by it. I'm excited that MU landed him.
I'm a Marquette fan, I'm just saying I could see how Bo was turned off by a Dad who would "run up and down the sidelines". Plus, I couldn't see Bo giving a gaurantee to a freshman.
Oh yeah, I agree with you there on the father. He seems way to excited in living vicariously through Jeronne. I'm glad he is really interested, but it seems like he wants just as much attention. But, I don't have any problem with a father since he won't be playing in the games for us!

Yeah, his dad was cracking me up...so excited for his boy. :D
My boy is only 3 years right now, but I guess I'd probably be wearing my "Jump'n Jesuit" outfit while holding up my Luke+Marquette sign if my kid got a D1 scholarship to MU.
Welcome to MU Jeronne. Get those grades in shape- we want you here from day 1.
Seems like a great kid and his Dad is excited for him. Liked how Jeronne, when asked about playing against Wisconsin, sort of smirked and smiled. Mentioned he can't wait to play them and he then said "If I stay all four years". Confidence is a good thing.

Maybe the next sign his dad makes is Jeronne+Marquette=Badger Killer
UW is going to regret not going after this kid and I think he plans on making sure that happens.
I love the smug, superiority, self righteousness that Badger fans have over this. A lot of people have made reference to the fact that UW wouldn't touch him because of grades. Whatever. The kid is a Jr. It is so great.
They know he's good. Really good.
I agree that he came across very humble in the press conference. I think he sounded dedicated to straightening out his grades.
Opinions on my new signature? ;D

Thats funny you said that because his pops had another sign with him but handed it to his wife. I'm guessing it would say "Jeronne + Marquette", then the second sign would have said "= something". Most likely something really cheesy.

Jeronne: "Watcha doing dad? This is MY press conference!" ;)
EDIT:1) Looks like Buzz's "Winning Style" won Jeronne over! LOL!
Check out the response at 1:56 (first video) to Buzz's style of play.
2) If the videos have no break in between them, Jeronne's dad held up the sign for about 16:28 straight! :o

If he carried a football for 2000 yards a season his BAC could be higher than his GPA and they wouldn't care.
