My wife and I have an opportunity to purchase Police/Elvis Costello concert tix for Mother's day. Stage left, two rows off of the floor. $500. Worth it or not?
I haven't seen the Police since around 1982 (Ghost in the Machine tour at Alpine Valley). They were great then. I'm not sure how this tour has been--haven't heard that much. They have just announced that this is their last tour and their final show ever will be at the end of summer in NYC. This may be your last chance.
I saw Elvis recently at Summerfest (2006?) when he toured with the New Orleans band. The show was outstanding.
I have tickets for the Milwaukee show in July (which is not yet sold out), and I'm pretty jacked up about it. I guess it all depends on how bad do you wanna go...? It's only money, right?
(I think there may be some $50 tickets available for this weekend's show at Allstate...in the upper corner kinda behind the stage if you really want to go but the $'s tight.)
