Espn mentioned that Marquette is showing interest in Garibay. He is in the 2008 class and is a 6'10 three star. With only UNLV in front of Marquette I see no reason why we can't get him. Anyone heard anything about a possible signing? Honestly when they are that tall Im not all that picky.
Here is the link to his page on the major sites

MU was in on him last year before the summer AAU season along with several other high majors. He played poorly for most of the summer, and MU backed off. He picked it up during the high school season, and now that most of the late guys have signed, interest is picking up from other schools. Louisville, WSU and Washington have offered. Indiana seems to be his leader despite not offering him yet.
How much MU is still involved is up in the air because Buzz was not the one recruiting him for MU. He was a Seltzer guy, and Seltzer is now recruiting him for IU. So everything is basically starting over with the new staff and MU is no longer as high on his list.
