That said, who is this kid? (http://iuhoosiers.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/042208aaa.html) Does anybody remember him? The press release doesn't mention why he left EMU and went to a JUCO. I wonder how the IU faithful will feel about this commit.
Actually the indiania people probably thinks its great, awesome and the best recruit in a long time. TC loves to give out these scholarships to people that have no business getting them. It's indiania's money now!

Man, isn't that the truth. While I mostly liked Crean, I always thought that one of his biggest weaknesses was the scholarships he gave out late - some really questionable decisions. He would have been better served banking some of those. But, I guess with the situation he has at IU right now, he doesn't really have much choice but to get some warm bodies to go along with Nick Williams.
IU will love this because he is from Indiana, vaguely remember him from the EMU game but wouldn't say it was someone I said I wish we had on our team. Given the void of bodies at IU it appers TTT is having his usual problem with an extra scollie or 2, he can't offer them fast enough to anyone who will accept.

These warm bodies will produce a dismal team. TC can't teach a halfcourt offense so this will be great to watch . . . if your playing Indiania
Crean's latest is probably okay, but he's no Jimmy Butler ;D
Yeah, typical Crean offering his late schollies to anyone he can. I know nothing about him, but the kid picked IU over South Alabama and UTEP. I wouldnt be that excited about him if I was Indiana. But as someone said, gotta get at least 4 other guys to put out there on the court with Nick Williams.
It's Indiana! It's Indiana!
If you look at his bio, he didn't even make Indiana's all-star team as a senior. I'll give him that Oden, Conley and Shrek all graduated in the same class, but Big Ten recruits usually make the team.
He's probably a kid who's an overachiever: the perfect fit for a struggling and soon-to-be scholly handicapped program.
Another stellar recruit by the Tanned Mis-Creant. Good riddance to The Bronzed One.
the guy looks like wes matthews, no?
Poor Man's version

Finally,
I can watch another team weave around the perimeter until there's about 8 seconds left on the shot clock and then throw up a contested 3...
And don't get me started about playing against a zone!
wait until IU loses 15 games next season because they fail to double up to stop the one play their opponent has run successfully 44 times in a row.
he is a shooter !! 109, 3's in a season is eye catching..not exactly the prime level athlete though..i believe he had 16 pts vs mu
I hope he lives up to his potential.
