Sounds like Thabeet *may* still try explore more draft options, but likely all 3 are back.

Speaking of which, I don't expect Jerel to head into the NBA, but if he was going to participate in camps, shouldn't we hear something in the next couple days? 24th is the cutoff, correct?
I don't understand the Sam Young talk, he's a good college player but don't see the quickness or shooting ability to play in the NBA. That garbage pump fake won't get it done on the next level.
And I agree with Thabeet and Harris taking another year, Thabeet will probably be a late lottery pick in 09.
MU trib seems to think McNeal will announce this week that he plans on testing the NBA waters

I think Young should have declared. Not because I think he's that good, its just typically a good idea to enter the NBA before you turn 40. That dude looks old.
And Sam Young has that killer pump fake that I am sure will WOW many if not all NBA teams...
Did you know he grew in NYC? And when playing at the Garden it's like coming home??
Sam Young had a very good season this past year, especially during the BE tournament. I could see him fitting on many NBA teams because he has a good offensive game, and the pump fake like reinko said. Could get him some easy buckets at the next level. Thabeet is still pretty raw so I am not surprised he is staying.

Too bad Isiah's gone...otherwise he'd probably draft him for the Knicks and he could play "at home" 41 games a year!
Jerel is about 50/50 on testing the waters per my sources as of earlier this week. We'll know for sure in the next couple days.

he's from maryland
It's true. I know this guy name Len who told me once or twice that Sam Young is from New York City. He told me PITT apparently has done well recruiting kids from NYC.
It's a good thing Young makes sure to tell the refs he isn't traveling when he travels or he would get whistled for traveling 10 times a game.
Get out of town! Pitt has players from NYC? I wonder how they play in the Garden?
I have that same source Len E. wait that's too noticable, L. Elmore says they really step it up when they come home

Must have been a recruiting mistake. Either that or the doctors messed up on his birth certificate.
I hear from a very reliable source that the pizza in NYC is DE-LICIOUS!
