Indiana University's men's basketball team has an NCAA Academic Progress Rate score well below the cut for potential scholarship losses, but an athletic department spokesman said Wednesday he does "not expect" any such penalties. The NCAA will announce the scores and penalties early next month. A public records request by The Star revealed a score of 899 for men's basketball for four academic years -- 2003-04 through 2006-07. Teams below 925 can lose up to two scholarships for players who left school early and wouldn't have been eligible for the next semester had they stayed.

Hopefully Judas will be hearing "It's A Loss. It's A Loss" frequently. Am I missing something, or has Indiana basketball before and after Bobby Knight been incredibly mediocre?
