... and 8 teams from the BEast are on it(MU #24), but not Louisville. 3 teams from the big 10 are on it, but not UWatMadison. Interesting.
MU goes 2/3 against ND last season, returns all but Ous & Fitz next season, yet ND is ranked 12 spots better by Rivals.
I guess Rivals expects Harangody to add some inches to that initimidating vertical.

Had to grin at that. I'm sure many Badger fans don't like to be called University of Wisconsin AT MADISON. It's like Cal fans being referred to as University of California AT BERKELEY.

The interesting thing is that in the Texas system, the University of Texas campus is officially called University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas Austin, or University of Texas - Austin. Most of the almuni bumper stickers you see down here for it use the "at Austin" approach. Nobody seems to have a heartburn about it either.
THAT'S the funny part about the UW@Madison folk - it irritates them greatly despite being such a trivial thing to get worked up about.
I'm sure Madison will win games in the Big Ten with an under-talented roster and be ranked by season's end. Then they'll get a higher seed than they deserve and get knocked out by a double digit seed in the first or second round. Happens every year. Louisville not being ranked really surprises me though, especially with Clark coming back. Losing Padgett will hurt, but their recruiting class is top notch and they return plenty of talent.

Strange thing is, for most kids in the area, the school isn't Wisconsin, it's Madison. All the UW-Whatever schools, except for UWM, get referred to by the extension name, Madison, Whitewater, Oshkosh, Eau Claire etc. I've never heard anyone under the age of 35 call the school Wisconsin, yet there are many older alums that get upset if you say UW-Madison.
The official name of the school is the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

well, I don't want it to be confused with the BIG UW at Milwaukee!
