Title: Taylor - as a great coach once said . . .
Post by: RubyWiscy on April 14, 2008, 09:21:34 PM
about recruiting, "The second best answer you can get from a recruit is 'No'".  Sounds like Buzz got a "maybe".  That is not good.  Best cut your losses and move on.  I hope Buzz is smart enough to realize that.

No question that we should act as though he is not coming and proceed with recruiting.  If he changes his mind, and Hurley approves his mind change, and if we have a scholie open, then great.  He's a good kid and and would help our team quickly - I wish that he wold change his mind - right now.

In the meantime, forward.

I expect him not to hold the scholarship. I am hoping he brings the guard and center from Fulce's junior college.

Fulce's buddies might not be a bad idea...
