Why doesn't MU do this? It's a joke that they're the only Top 25 team without highlights shown!! ???
Thought the same when watching halftime of the Ciny-OSU Basketball and Whitewater Football games. One of the benefits of being ranked is that each network and newspaper have a blurb on the game. With some of the dunks, they would have made nice national highlights.
Or, send this game to CSTV/AllAccess webcast.

Cannot, ESPN has rights to EVERY Big East game. Which means unless they sell the game rights to a CSTV or someone else, not going to happen. And who in their right mind in the industry would pay to broadcast this game?
Now, as for the original question on why the BC doesn't send to ESPN...they DO!! Unless something has changed and I very much doubt it, the BC would uplink highlights to the four local networks and also to the various national providers like they do for the Bucks and everyone else. If ESPN chooses not to show highlights, who can blame them. A blowout win by the #22 team against UMBC...not exactly going to push others off the highlights to be honest.
So .. ESPN owns all BE OOC games, too? Didn't know that. Funny that ESPN would want the rights to ~150 games/year of craptacular matchups they'd never televise in a million years.
I saw highlights of yesterday's game on Sportscenter this morning. Basically, DJ's steal and breakaway dunk--one of them at least.
