lazar just said on Homer's show he would like Crean to put MU on IU's sched next year.
sounds very comfortable with Buzz being hired.
That would require Crean to schedule someone of quality prior to Jan.

"Gahh! Heaven forbid!"
That would either be the sweetest victory or the most painful loss in a long, long time.
Crean doesn't have the balls to be embarrassed like that. They have shriveled up inside the tanning booth a LONG time ago.

IU won't be very good next year either....but the chances of that game ever happening are 1,000,000,000 to 1. As much fun as it would be, just isn't going to happen.
I do love Lazar's chip on his shoulder. We will need that leadership next year in a big way.

I bet he would, IU's going to SUCK for the next 3 years - and I mean SUCK HARD. IU's team is in shambles, with players graduating (or using up all their eligibility), getting kicked off the team and jumping to the NBA they MIGHT, just MIGHT have 5 scholarship players returning.
Now way Crean schedules an embarrasment like that. I expect a NCAA first round matchup with IU before a regular season meeting.
Well, I'll say one thing about Crean. I certainly like the character of the players he brought into our program. I can't imagine how the players could have handled/conducted themselves any better than they have.
Lazar is the man.

You never know-- might not be long before we're matched up with IU in a preseason (or postseason) tournament. Those things have a tendency to happen from time-to-time.
I agree that they will never schedule it as a home and home. That would be insane.

They have been phenomenal as leaders the past week.
Chicos, that bee, wasp thing is really hyper. Does it ever stand still?
Nope, it doesn't stand still....it's going to keep on buzzing and needs to be on the move constantly, just like Mr. Williams.
Lazar, if you are reading these posts... you are a man child and we love you. I am buying a lazar jersey for next season. You are the man Lazar.
Wow. Love this kid.
I give Crean and IU two years before they start to turn things around. I can only see NCAA sanctions lasting one year.
As for Lazar, I'd pay for an MMA match between him and Crean. Though Crean's coconut noggin may be formidable.
That game would sell tickets!
