Up 21 points in the first half on Colorado.
Looks like the championship will be played at Michigan State since they won. Had NC State won, the championship would be played at Marquette.
keep this up and they'll hit triple digits!!
Marquette up 51-33 with 17 to go in the game.
Marquette up 71-48 with under 9 to go.

Marquette goes to the Championship Game!
Final Score:

Congrats to a wonderful and classy coach. Sounds like Teri did an outstanding job once again. I take my hat off to the womens squad and a coach who always represents the best of MU!

There was a play in the second half when I think it was Marissa Thrower was hustling after a loose ball and stumbled out of bounds into the MU bench in the process undercutting Terri. Terri got up and dusted herself off and jokingly waved to the crowd that she was ok - the CU radio announcers said she's getting too old for that stuff :-).
The championship game on Sat. is at 3p Milwaukee time and televised live on CSTV.
I really wanted to watch this game. Now let's beat MSU and take home the title!
Congrats to Terri and the ladies!n Coach Mitchell is nothing but classy, and GENUINE class, too!
Let's hope we bring home some hardware on Saturday!

If MSU won, they will be playing at MSu :(
Right. The only way for it to be at Marquette was if NC State won.
The schools bid on the game location so apparently Marquette bid more than NC State but less than Michigan State!
TT I like the change to the line under your avatar.
Haha thanks. ;D

MSU is in position to make a much better bid with attendance way better than MU's. For MU's two WNIT games they had about 1,000 and 1,200 fans. MSU has had attendance of 4,416, 5,116, 3,139 and 3,037. MSU has been home for all their WNIT games while MU has won the last two on the road.

Must be all that money they got from IU in the Crean buyout! ;D
Best of luck to the Women's team against the Izzone.
Hopefully some students can make it down to the Championship. 2 years ago when the finals were at KSU, some friends and myself made the decision the night before to wake up a few hours later, skip class, and make the drive to Manhattan. It was a great experience. A big thanks goes to the Athletic department for helping us get seats with the Alumni right behind the Marquette bench for a sold out game.
I didn't go to band yesterday, so I don't know for sure, but I think the band is going, at least. I know we were trying to get out there for them.
Id go but dont feel like driving to michigan
