I don't think Crean wanted or controlled the leak. That was all on IU's end.
That being said, it's reprehensible how long it took him to tell the players, leak or not. You take that job Monday night, you should have the players assembled at 7am Tuesday to break the news. Just makes me sick...

I think you GREATLY underestimate the insanity that is IU hoops and Hoosiernation. GREATLY. All it takes is one guy in IU land to open his trap and it's done and the way those people live and breathe IU hoops, that is virtually 99.99% where the leak came from, intentional or not.
Doesn't matter - Crean is a dirtbag that he didn't confide in his players first. It was them that brought him up to this "promotion". Nice way to get kicked in the teeth if you are a MU player.
That was bush league by Crean, if indeed it is ture.....The players have got to be told by him personally and not by the media. If you think your mad about how this unfolded just think about how the players feel....utterly bush league
