I do not want to bash people. But I feel I now know why Crean was willing to waste Mbakee's redshirt year. He sold this kid out. Feel free to attack me on this statement, but I never agreed with removing the redshirt. It certainly did not make a difference to this season. Of course if Mbakee transfers losing the redishirt year does not matter to us either. The other thought I had is if Cords was still AD would Crean have left?
valid points and having an inexperienced AD makes me nervous.
Bilsu...
I haven't really looked into it much, but I don't think TC and IU were discussing any coaching deals @ the time when Mbakwe decided to take off his red shirt.
But I agree I think Mbakwe is getting the short end of the stick here...
and apparently Mbakwe's just waiting on a call from Minnesota.
damn...seriously. Way. To. Fornicate us over.

COMPLETELY AGREE
It would be interesting to look at the timing of all of that. Obviously Sampson knew what was coming, and obviously Crean talked to Sampson. I think it would be naive to think Crean has not somewhat had his eye on this opening for the past month or two.
