Title: Tommy Amaker
Post by: MURFC on April 02, 2008, 05:22:13 AM
Someone in a previous post tossed out the idea of Tommy Amaker.  I think he would be a great viable/possible replacement for a few reasons.

- Head Coaching experience at Seton Hall, Michigan, and Harvard
- Great resume as an assistant at Duke
- Significant East Coast ties (born and raised out east) and experience recruiting midwest with Michigan

If Williams or Taylor are released and choose to not re-committ to Marquette, do you think there is any possibility we can get back in the mix and land Ben-Eze?  Obviously, he had initially committed to Harvard.

The only thing that would be a little troubling are some of the allegations of shady recruiting.

Thoughts?

eff no.

he recruited thugs to SHU, sucked at Michigan and compromised the integrity of his current employer.

no thanks

I hope Amaker never gets consideration. I will also cringe if I ever hear the names Chris Collins or Steve Wojiehowski mentioned for the MU job.
