As disappointed as I felt after losing by 1 in OT to a BCS school I would have a whole different feeling if I were a UW fan, I would be embarrassed.

Of course, Davidson has now beat the Big 10 champs, and the BE champs. Wow.
I hope it isn't sour grapes but I think there is much more PRIDE in losing to a 3 seed on a last second shot in the second round THAN getting blown out by a 10 seed in the 3rd round. The Badgers, who's path to the elite 8 when through a 14 seed, 11 seed and 10 seed, can't feel good. But Bo keeps his streak alive. He has never beaten a higher seeded team in the NCAA tournament.
...and hed lost despite intimidating the refs into a 22-12 edge in free throws. Before anyone says. well, Davidson was taking nothing but threes ande wasn't going to the basket, they took 24 treys, Wisco took 23.

Remember Marquette should have beaten Gtown - this was not the dominant team from last year. They won too many last minute sqeakers that could have gone down as losses.
Wisky was a good team, G'town was a really good team, and Davidson is a special team. Hats off to them. On another note, the Curry kid is a classic throwback player. Shots off the dribble, quick release, constantly moving. Reminds me of a time where basketball was more finesse, less Krabbenhoft. I love watching that kid play!

I dislike Wisconin as much as anybody but to say they embarassed themselves is extremely uneducated. Davidson is an excellent team, yes they are a low major but they have the best player in the tournament (Curry) and a point guard with a 2.9 to 1 Assist to turnover ratio, a number better than DJ. They were ranked #23 in the country going into the tournament and had won something like 25 straight games. 3 of their 7 loses this year came to Final 4 teams. (By 4 to UNC, 2 to KU and 12 to UCLA). They also took Duke to the wire. To say that this loss is embarassing to Wisconsin is extremely uneducated. Davidson has been an excellent team all year.
Oh by the way, including their tournament run Davidson beat more ranked teams then we did this year...

It is embarrrassing when you quit at the 8:00 min. mark though.

Except that they were blown out and looked lost in the second half. Davidson is a good team but come on Wisconsin was a team that came together as the season wore on. Won the Big 10 Championship and received a 3 seed and oh yea lost by 17 points to a 10 seed. Any way you slice it, it was an embarrassment.
A 3 seed losing by 17 to a 10 seed is an embarrasment. :-[ Period.
That's a heckuva program they have in Madison if playing poorly in the second half of a sweet 16 game in what was supposed to be a down year is an embarrassment. They won two NCAA tournament games, something we've done a grand total of two times in the last 31 seasons. I look forward to the day when we consider a bad loss in the sweet 16 after a 31-5 season an embarassment.
