At the half...

Marquette leads 36-30 at halftiime. In case you missed it,
Stanford coach Trent Johnson is no longer with his team. He was whistled for a pair of technicals and was ejected from the game. Marquette outscored Stanford 11-6 after the technicals
Perhaps the most unlikely stat of the first half is that the Golden Eagles are outrebounding Stanford, 17-11. If that continues, I certainly would like Marquette's chances to advance to Houston.
It's no surprise that neither team is shooting well, Marquette has made 4-of-14 three-point attempts. I'm would rather see a few less three pointers and a little more offense created off of the bounce in the second half.
Another encouraging stat is that MU has a six-point lead despite forcing just three turnovers.
Will MU create a few more mistakes and lengthen the lead? Are you pleased with Marquette's interior defense on the Lopez brothers?
