Stanford coach ejected from the game
Written by: Emmett Prosser
It appears Stanford is coming unglued. Cardinal coach Trent Johnson was just called for a double technical and ejected from the game. Talk about gaining an advantage!
It appears Johnson was upset with a foul call that involved Lazar Hayward. After getting a first technical, Johnson walked onto the floor and barked at official Curtis Shaw, drawing a second technical.
I thought Marquette would have to shoot 45% to win this game, but if Stanford can't make any attempts from the perimeter, the team that shoots 40% will probably win.
The Golden Eagles have hit enough outside shots to keep the game tight. I'd like to see McNeal and James use the dribble a bit more, However, it's hard to argue with taking the open three when you've got two seven-footers sitting looming in the paint.
Just as I type this, MU gets a transition basket. I'm guessing most Marquette fans are pleased, especially after falling behind 7-0.
Will Marquette's run continue after Johnson's ejected, or will Stanford regroup and make a run to end the first half.

Were all of the fouls makeup calls? I mean what is there to make up? There coach got a T then came out on the floor and got another. That's the rule. There's nothing to make up.
