down 11 against San Diego with 17:30 to go in the second.. (score is 31-42)
come on huskies!
and suddenly, 7 minutes later they're down only 1 point.. 45-46
nice comeback!
People talk about our basketball IQ.....UCONN has played with very little today.
Having seen San Diego play a couple of times (vs Kentucky and WCC tourney final), I thought they were a bad matchup for UConn. I actually had SD beating UConn in my bracket. Still close, but UConn doesn't look like they want it all that much.
Those west coast teams don't get alot of pub,but alot of them can play some ball.
UConn loses it in OT 70-69.. BE now 4-1.. Very disappointed.
underachievers and not intelligent today on that court. turned the ball over a ton and just played lethargically.
can't be too disappointed when pompous Jim Calhoun and those creeps get knocked out.
does Uconn need a big man?
In watching the game today, I didn't think UCONN lost a team that was more talented than their seed or they played way over their head. UConn was just bad. Its hard to feel bad for them. They deserved to lose.

in all fairness, didn't they suffer an injury in the first half?
The AJ Price excuse isn't very valid when your backup point guard is Dyson. UConn probably had 6 or 7 better players than anyone USD trotted out there. Calhoun should be ashamed. His team was sleepwalking. It really looks like Calhoun has lost his edge in Storrs.
Sleepwalking s right. UConn looked incredibly disinterested out there today. Tough to watch.
The last few years UConn seems to not give it their all until some point in the second half. They used to have the toughness we have with the killer talent to go a long with it. Now it seems they've got a bunch of guys who are just passing through on their way to the NBA. They're not a TEAM, anymore.
I root for them when they're not playing us, as they came out of nowhere to become a great team right when Dukiet was putting us on the fast track to the cr*pper, so they saved my love of college hoops.
Losing Price was huge, though. He's 2nd team All-American and their best player. If he doesn't get hurt, I'm sure they would have won. They should've won anyway, however. Why they don't just pound the ball into Adrien all the time is beyond me. They take so many stupid shots with time left on the clock it is distracting. I think they saved their best game of the year for us.
I thought UConn struggled towards the end of the season was frankly shocked that they ended up with a 4 seed with ND getting a 5. I had UConn winning only their first game but I am not shocked that they lost.
