First post here on muscoop, like the site so far.
This is a strange topic but I've lately noticed in photos from the gomarquette website something peculiar about the ball we use in home games. I'm sorry if it has been discussed before.

the picture of Fitz on the front page shows a ball that says "THE ROCK" on one panel and "UAA" on the other panel. Correct me if I'm wrong but the first time I remember seeing that ball was during the GAS last year on ESPN2. Obviously the GAS is hosted by the University of Alaska-Anchorage, (UAA). And it even looks like it says "University Alaska Anchorage" over each corresponding letter.
Check out the photogallerys from the Eastern Michigan Game and Idaho State. Some of the other games we're using a Nike Ball but not for EMU...
If this is the case anyone know why we are using a ball from the University of Alaska Anchorage? Smells like something for Paul Lukas of Uniwatch...
It does indeed say University of Alaska Anchorage. (you could see it better in a different pic)
No idea why they're using it. Maybe it became their lucky ball after winning the tourney up there. ???
