Bradley is UKs second leading scorer but has a horrible Assist:turnover ratio. I think that McSteal could cause a lot of problems for him instead of guarding their 2 guard Jasper who happens to be 6'6 but only scores 4.4 per game. They run a lot of screens so McNeal might wind up one the taller player if UK successfully brings the ball up the court. This assumes that Wes will take Crawford.
Put DJ on Bradley and Matthews on Crawford. Crawford likes to use his size to bully other guards ... Matthews has the size and strength to guard him.
I would put McNeal on Jasper. Jasper is not much of an offensive threat ... Allow McNeal to be a rover. That would allow him to double the post, trap their guards and jump passing lanes. Hopefully, creating as much havoc as possible.
McNeal should guard Crawford and shut down his 17 pts per game ave. and have DJ guard Bradley.

That was my thoughts exactly when reading the inital post. I don't think that McNeal is better than DJ on the ball and he is a better off the ball defender. Let him go after the passing lanes and DJ will do his thing against Bradley.

I'll third this one. I was thinking the same thing...
not only that but it might keep McNeal out of foul trouble, and right now he is our best scorer, keep him on the floor for when we need him offensively.

That's a great point.
And, as was said earlier, DJ probably is the best on-ball defender of our guards and putting him on a turnover-prone guy like Bradley could wreak havoc on KY's ability to get into and run its offense.
