Rick Pitino and Louisville are now 1-3 in the BET
DePaul is 0-1
Cincinnati is 0-3
USF has never made it to New York
Marquette is the only team above .500 with a 3-2 record and has never been knocked out in the first round.
I don't know if this is posted anywhere else, but I made it into a little project. Here are Big East standings from the past three years. The records include the conference tournament, and conference tournament record is in parenthesis. We're just above Louisville in overall record, but are significantly better than the other former CUSA teams. Thanks to this year's success, we're at 3-2 in MSG, while the other CUSA teams are a combined 1-6.
Georgetown 44-13 (6-1)
Pittsburgh 39-20 (7-2)
Villanova 35-21 (3-3)
Marquette 34-21 (3-2)
West Virginia 34-21 (3-2)
UConn 33-20 (0-3)
Louisville 33-21 (1-3)
Notre Dame 32-22 (1-3)
Syracuse 31-26 (5-2)
DePaul 20-31 (0-1)
Seton Hall 20-32 (0-2)
Providence 19-33 (0-2)
Cincinnati 18-34 (0-2)
St. John's 17-34 (0-1)
Rutgers 14-38 (1-1)
South Florida 7-43 (0-0)

I'd say we've got a pretty nice thing going on right now and have for most of this decade
Some more fun facts:
-Villanova, who is barely ahead of us in record, has a 15-3 2005-06 season helping their overall results
-Unless we make it to the championship game and lose to WVU, Georgetown and Pitt are the only ones to eliminate us from the BET. If we lose to Pitt, we will have gone 4-0 in the regular season against teams that have eliminated us in the BET.
-Of the teams above or near us in the standings, we are 4-2 against Pittsburgh since joining the Big East. We could go to 5-2 with a win tomorrow, against a program ESPN pointed out tonight has done just as well as Duke the past several seasons. We are 1-3 against Georgetown, 4-2 against Notre Dame, 1-4 against Louisville, 2-1 against Villanova, and 2-1 against UConn.
-The only teams we have losing records against are Georgetown (1-3), West Virginia (1-2), Louisville (1-4), and Syracuse (0-2), which makes Syracuse the only Big East team we haven't beaten.
-We will join Georgetown, Pitt, and if their bubble doesn't burst, Villanova as the only teams to make the NCAA tournament the past three years.
Pitt is trying to run to the finals on the backs of old CUSA teams. Cincinnati, Louisville and we're up next. Let's end that right now.
I hate to say this, but this tournament is breaking just right for us (knock on wood). I know Pitt is tough, but I think we've got like a 55% chance of winning tonight, as opposed to something like 10-15% against Louisville.
