I think that if we are going to win this game tonight hes going to have to have at least 15 pts from the three. I believe this guy will carry us to tomorrows games aginst PITT ?-(
Couldn't agree more, I think he is the most important player for Marquette. In order for them to be successful in both tourneys Lazar has to be at his best.
Or Matthews! Hit an open jumper for chr*st sakes, he has got to improve his shooting....he would be a great player if he could hit the open 3.
I just don't get how Matthews isn't a better shooter out on the perimeter. Aside from Hayward, he looks like he's got maybe the best stroke on the team at the free throw line. You would think that nice stroke would translate to some decent shooting out on the perimeter, but it doesn't for Matthews. If our three junior guards could just hit three's at a respectable clip we would be very very good.

What?!?! YOU think Lazar is going to be the most important player for Marquette? I'm shocked. ;D
Ill give myself props for the right amount of points lazar had however i thought he would hit the 3 ball more
That guy Mcneal seemed to do ok tonight
It would be nice to see Lazar step up. He hasn't looked a s confident as we have seen him in the past. I hope he learns about some of his bad fouls before it costs him playing time in the crunch. I certainly like having Wes and Lazar on the line more than anyone else.

So you're saying we need him to hit 5 3-pointers tonight? That's not asking much. Why don't we put him down for 15 rebounds too?
as long as neither lazar nor wes are bringing the ball up the court against pressure. wes should have a 2 dribble rule.
