I see that Georgetown is winning but was just curious as to how things were going for each team.
georgetown came out smoking from 3 point land. wallace has over 16 points already and has been carrying them. georgetown is looking very very good right now. nova reminding me of MU right now...having a hard time making shots and getting open...playing pretty sloppy and taking bad shots. FTs are keeping them in it so far. reynolds was fouled on a missed layup and got cut under the eye but is back in the game now.
wow.. wallace is 5-5 from 3pt land.. ouch!
Huge comeback by villanova... whatever calls the refs missed in the last game, they are more than making up for it... Gtown yet to ATTEMPT a Free Throw... villanova is 16/19.
Hibbert on the bench with 4 fouls and only 1 shot attempt with 0 points.
Picked villanova to make it to the championship game in my big east bracket... let's go Nova!
nova by 2 14 to play and hibbert still on the bench with 4 fouls
Wow - Hibbert fouls out, scoreless - 12 to play (according to Yahoo Sports)
Hibbert fouled out scoreless with 5:09 to play.
and Nova down 9.
wow, georgetown has made 17 3s today! i guess that helps offset the 0 pts they got from hibbert.
Well now comes the what if? for Nova and the G-Town phantom call game... what a huge blow that may turn out to be.
Lunardi commented on that in his chat earlier today:
Brian (Philadelphia PA): Hey Joe, love your work. I am curious what Nova's RPI would be if they counted the win against NC State and if they pulled out the G-town win in OT.
Joe Lunardi: (12:16 PM ET ) Probably about 10 spots to the good.
After last night's games, Villanova's RPI was 50. An improvement of 10 would put them at 40. Still low enough to be excluded.
