The team has struggled since the Duke game. But a bad loss has focused them. I have a feeling we are going to see the kind of ba!!s to the wa!! intensity we had against TT and Duke, we are going to hold our own on the boards, and that we are going to be able to turn the BADger guards over. No letdowns, no coasting, everybody contributes and we get the win.
Knock on wood.
BTW - you can use "balls to the wall." It originated as an aviation term, meaning going full throttle.

During the Delaware St chat, I couldn't even get DePaul great Terry Cummings past the filter, so I take nothing for granted. ::)
What's the world coming to? ??? (pun intended)
I'm also eagerly anticipating this game. Not only am I feeling positive about our potential team performance on Saturday, I have a great feeling about Wes. I think he goes off for over 20 points with more than solid defensive play.

I agree about our intensity, and hope we have neutral refs (a rarity in a uw game) as we did in '04 at the bc.
I was at the madison game in '03 and watched the baadjrs flop for 3 quick, early charge calls on D.WADE; relegating him to the bench, and MU to a loss. I am further chilled by the mil urinal article 12/6...,"Wisconsin has been getting to the free-throw line a lot..., the numbers are ridiculous. ...more impressive is that the badgers have taken 121 more free throws than their opponents. The big ten team with the next largest differential is Purdue, which has taken 41 more free throws than opponents."
I have noiticed the past few days that I didn't feel as irritated with the UW game approaching, as I have in past years. It just occured to me why.
There are no Badger flamer's on this site. Makes for a much calmer UW week.
Thank you MUScoop!
MU is due to break out......the team has been flat for a couple of weeks, and we're hearing chatter about the need to have higher energy.
I dont think that'll be an issue on Saturday. GO MU!!!!
NY....the blog entries this week are great! Laughed out loud at the Arthur Boyt one. For those that haven't stopped by Cracked Sidewalks lately...you should probably go have a look now 8)
