.....what about McNeal? W/o his outstanding game we get our pants pulled down on national tv.
I think we DID get our pants pulled down.
The leader of a team that loses just lead that team into a loss. That's not studly. As good as McNeal was, it wasn't enough. No one is exempt from blame - the entire team shoulders every loss together.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe McNeal was out there when SU shot 70% in the second half.
Who was the bright light that decided a 6'3" guard could bottle-up a 6'10" Donte Greene?
You wouldn't even do that in street ball.
So much for "small ball."
The way Greene likes to hang out on the perimeter, I actually think putting some quick hands on him was not a terrible idea. Of course Syracuse adjusted and it quickly turned into a disaster, but the initial idea may not have been that bad.
With our pants down, did you notice penises or vaginas?

It's this kind of wit that keeps me coming back.
l'chaim!!
what I noticed was our leading scorer was absent, but continued to play-as he did against G-Tn. Having just seen Billy Donovan bring his team back from 16 down w/ less than 9 minutes left, AT Kentucky, against a RED-HOT Kentucky, I feel we gave up. All except McNeal. He remains a STUD!
I give it to Fitz. That was worth watching the game. It was unintenntional and happened in the blink of an eye. The Syracuse player wanted to muscle Fitz, but Fitz came out on top. It was awesome. Hope it made Sportscenter.
