Tom Brady all over again?
Didn't he have a stress fracture in his foot his freshman year? If it was the right foot I'll be nervous, as those injuries have a tendency to re-occur.
Edit: After looking through the wiki, it was the right foot he had a stress fracture in his freshman year. I sure hope this is nothing major.
Could be something as little as a sprain. There's really no way to know until tomorrow night.
Even then they could rest him just as a precaution being as it is Florida Gulf Coast.
Maybe it opens the door for Tommy Brice to start and play few minutes! :D
Paige Fiedorowicz from the Women's team has been a boot all season, and still be a large factor for the team.
Could easily be a non-issue.
I hope this isn't Jerel McNeal all over again from last year. If he's on the floor tommorow night there should be no worries.
If he's hurt, he shouldn't even be in uniform tomorrow. Or next Saturday. Let him get 100 percent healthy.
He played a spectacular game on Saturday...particularly in the 1st half.
Yeah, I wouldn't play him at all tomorrow night. Let Blackledge play a lot in his final home game and get Wes ready for Syracuse.

If it's serious enough to put him in a boot, I'd imagine it is serious enough to keep him off the floor for the FL Gulf Coast game. Actually, I hope most of our starters get to rest a bunch and the walk ons get some quality PT.
I hope Christopherson, Blackledge, Mbakwe, Burke get good PT. We'll need them in the tournaments. Let the walk-ons get their 60-90 seconds. That's good enough for me.
I'd like to see MU try some things tomorrow including big line ups:
Ous, Mbakwe, Lazar, Jerel, and DJ.
Have we seen that yet this year? I think against Syracuse and their strength in Harris we should see Ous and Mbakwe together...
Hopefully Wes is ok and it is an injury that can be mended before next weds... But if it is true, I hope we use the next two games to tune up a bigger line up like the aforementioned.
Shoonts, I think that is a brilliant idea. ;D
That would actually be a center, power forward, shooting forward, point guard and shooting guard. That will work, with Matthews being the sixth man off the bench. Maybe next year
It was his right foot.

60-90 seconds for hours and hours of practice? Come on. Have a heart. Give Tommy Brice a chance to score a couple points and get in the box score.
guys wear boots all the time anymore. Anymore if a guy tweaks an ankle or anything they stabilize it in a boot for the next few days.
TC didn't mention anything about Wesley being hurt on his radio show so I doubt its anything serious.
I will be shocked if he doesn't play tomorrow.
Just got done listening to TC's radio show with Homer on 540. Talked about a number of players, including the improvement of Wesley this year, especially again GU. Not one hint of a foot/leg problem.
to discuss a player's injury and status. That's pretty much how they've handled these situations in the past. Besides, you wouldn't want to leak info that Florida Gulf Coast could use for a competitive edge.
He talked about Fitzgeralds injury. He talked about DC's injury. When Scott and Trevor got hurt it was disclosed in a timely fashion.
He was on the court at the end of the game so its hard to imagine that this is anything serious.

What a novel concept!
Not that we had the players (and the opponent ) to do that before.
