Royce
Clark
I'm going with Fru. Prime-time pick-up for MU.
Royce
Caedin for taking himself out so Shaka had to give Clark some run
Clark, but Royce and Fru very deserving.

Sheek. For seeing the writing on the wall regarding Clark.
Brenn. He didn't let that first missed free throw get the better of him.
Clark
No SOTG when we shoot FT poorly.
Kung Fru
Bravo
Clark......Fru and Royce honorable mentions
Clark. Looks like a different player.
Josh. He shot 8/9 and had 7 RBs and 3 blocks. Not too shabby for a bench guy.
Shaka said in the post game that he told his parents after the game that he has a lot more in there and that he is going to stay " on his ass".
Shaka seemed pleased that he is playing much harder of late.......
Again, Josh solidified himself as our back-up 5. Yes, I know it was Mercyhurst, but we all saw what the kid can do. What does that mean? Everything. It puts significantly less pressure on Fru and RP. Josh is a large young man folks, and I believe he's grown a bit both physically and mentally. He occupies space and can finish chippies. You have to put a body on him. He looked confident, disciplined, and ready to play. He also got up and down the floor quite well. This is a very positive development for MU basketball.

It drives you crazy that
he's the coach, and
you're not, doesn't it?
Clark.
One game but showed he knew what to do and did it!
Josh - if he brings that game consistently over the balance of the season, then we are in good shape. I know it was against a cupcake, but the young man played well.
Clark
JC
Clark. He maximized the opportunity. Even 8 minutes of that level in an important big east game will be awesome.
I know 18 and Josh Clark is no 18.
Josh earned it.

Josh Clark scored 18 in an homage to #18.
My bigger takeaway is Fru and Clark patrolling the defensive paint. This was our best opening game in quite some time, regardless of Mercyhurst's futility. Having two serviceable bigs who are capable defenders and glass cleaners is NOT what we've seen in recent years. This helps MU immensely. And being available to finish inside is tremendously valuable to RP in particular. This was by far the best defensive performance I've seen in G1 of recent MU seasons.
18, he guided JC from the bench
Fru, although any frontcourt player is worthy.
Josh Clark had by far his best outing as a Golden Eagle, even if I thought his performance in the exhibition game against MSU was very good. I really hope he plays with this sort of confidence against Michigan and Missouri next week because we absolutely need it. Fru was unstoppable and so was Royce. They could each have put up 20 points if they played more.
Gong to have to go with Clark. All-round great game.
CLARK ! ! !
Josh
Fru, but can't go wrong with any of the front court guys
Clark
JC SuperSub
Fru set the tone in a game that was decided early and was good whenever he was on the court, so I'd go with him. But obviously no argument about Clark after his career game.
