Title: RIP Hayden Panettiere
Post by: Uncle Rico on August 17, 2026, 07:14:26 AM
Knew Gosling couldn't play football.

Dead from the vaccine at 36.

Herm will rip one off in her memory.

A family that lost both of their kids are in mourning.  Your shtick is totally inappropriate.

I highly doubt her mom is in mourning.

My wife was doing a rewatch of Nashville recently and her book popped up on my kindle as a recommended read so I actually just read her book.

Her life really went off the rails after having a kid.  The problems she had in real life were every similar to her character in Nashville.

One interesting thing from the book... her father was a fire Captain at one of the stations that sustained heavy losses on September 11th.  He had retired from fire fighting just prior to the attack but was heavily involved in the rescue operations at ground zero.  She spent lots of time at the station and knew many of the fire fighters who died.

Her mom seemed like a terrible person in the book.

They should be mourning.  The vaccine keeps killing young people.

I didn't know her mom was terrible to her.  It's still extremely sad.

One of the 3-4 celebritie passings that kind of shook me. Heros was one of the first shows I recall watching growing up. She was good in until dawn as well. Seemed sweet and innocent. Pretty shocking and sad

It's absolutely awful having read a bit today about her story.  She was in commercials as a toddler.  Her whole life was basically in front of the camera.  It sounds like her mom was an absolute monster and she was suffering for a very long time.  It's extremely sad.

One of the cruelest ironies in Hollywood this millennium is that she was literally the absolute opposite. From the substance abuse addictions to deviant relationship behavior to borderline seeking out physically abusive relationships, her life post-Heroes basically started to embody "these violent delights have violent ends", to quote Westworld.  Nothing about her had been sweet and innocent since even before Heroes.

To be fair, she really had no chance at normality.  If even half the things Ive read and/or heard about her mom are true, she's basically without equal in terms of evil selfish stage moms/child actor parents.  Makes Joe Jackson just look like a greedy dad with a bit of a temper in comparison.

Just a horrible ending to a tragic cautionary tale of a Hollywood life.
