Realistically, pay off the mortgage (and get a new garage), put 1m in trust for my girls to buy homes and go to college for free. I'd eat the remaining Michelin starred restaurants in Chicago I haven't checked off, and any that might appear in Milwaukee in the first release. Then go do a trip to South America & Africa so I can check off every continent. Throw a big party and Invest the rest... maybe open my dream Irish pub.

Yup. When I saw the headline and who posted it, I thought eeyore69 was saying he'd donate it all to Marquette athletics so our heroes could compete with all the best programs in the country - which would make sense, given his years of "woe are us" posts.

A billion? Take the lump, pay all of the taxes I can find. Set up my two kids at around $10 mil each. Keep $10 mil for my wife and I. A couple mil for my two siblings. Give the rest away. Fund some eco start ups. Food banks. Pay for a season of MU hoops. Give an equal amount to the university. Make the local Catholic schools very happy.
