He just broke the mile record in London which had stood for 27 years. 3 mins, 42.66 secs. Congrats to the guy.
Of course there is a caveat. This is the current human world record. By my calculations a Pronghorn would run a mile in about 1 minute and 25 secs. :)
Kerr is a great runner, but one of the reasons the record has stood for so long is because the mile isn't run very often in international meets.

How can it be .66 seconds. There's only sixty seconds in a minute. I think you're making this up again.

No, there's 60 seconds in a minute. What on earth are you talking about

He'd have a great race vs. Kim Jong Un. Both would break the 2-minute mark, and they'd probably win a few club championships along the way.

Put 134 pounds on a Pronghorn's back and see how fast he goes. Dr F ager ran 1:321⁄5 packing 134 lbs.

Wait until you hear about Kim Jong Un's mile.

That was quite impressive.
I may have been off about the Pronghorn time. It would be closer to 1 min, 10 secs.
That said, Dr.F ager, setting that mark, carrying that weight, going 37 mph, is extraordinary. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

President Trump is 6'5" and weighs 210 lbs of pure muscle. Kim Jong Un is pretty fast and fit but not like the President

This is a troll, right? just giving Muggsy the typical MUScoop hard time?
Fun fact stolen from the web: Did you know that a "jiffy" is actually a unit of time?
It is 1/100th of a second. So when you tell someone you will be ready in a "jiffy",
you had better actually be ready right then.

Mao was (and probably still is) a world class swimmer.

I bet President Trump could circumnavigate the globe in a day swimming.

You're misinformed. There's a reason Kerr's time was 3:42.66.
A cheetah in the wild can run 88 meters in 3 seconds btw. So we're looking at a 3.3/3.4 100 meters and likely 200 meters in 6 secs flat when hunting. Bolt ran a 19 something in 200m.

Just say 3:43.06 like every other human on earth. I don't understand why you're being so stubborn here
