Talks about respect he has for Marquette and Shaka.......and later on mentions that Marquette is playing like a " top 60 or even top 50 team right now"

There are words and there are actions. He couldn't stick around for one second on the clock to congratulate Shaka and his players in the handshake line? Character (or lack
thereof) revealed.
I thought he would have said Marquette was playing like a #5 or higher team in the USA.
Meh. More psychological warfare.
He got thrown out so sticking around wasn't his choice.......i found the presser interesting..........Al got thrown out of games too.......some coaches lose it.......he has anger issues.......
I believe the respect is genuine both ways between Hurley and Shaka.
Psychological warfare.
I do enjoy that a MU victory over UCONN seems to deprive them of conference titles.
Hurley knows that too.

He was ejected.
Hurley would be destroyed rather easily in a "psychological warfare" scenario vs a number of Scoopers. I don't know if it's genuine respect for MU and Shaka. What I do know is his antics and comments, after MU disposed of his team, were high on the scale of assclownery. The guy is a great coach but he was WAY off on his take after Saturday's game.
Yay! Let's hang another banner.
We're going to have so many banners.

Guess you never went to games when Al coached. Plenty of fan bases hated him. Hurley has a temper, so did McGuire. Some of Al's T's cost us big games.

I wasn't alive in the Al era.
Yes, I'm aware that he was ejected. That was the result of his infantile response to adversity. Original premise persists.

Bummer. It was fun.
