Oh, AP...I was thinking "BE doesn't announce these until tomorrow". Nice, congrats to NJ.
But also...AP has a "Transfer of the year" award?
Well deserved!

I believe they used to have a "Newcomer of the Year" award and they split it in two.
Well deserved. Congrats to Nigel.
Don't really get the coach of the year award. "We had a few teams that were supposed to be really bad and instead they were just bad, so give it to one of those guys." Would think the standard for a COTY in a power conference would be coaching a team that earned an At Large bid.
So Shaka didn't ruin it for him?

Would have been unanimous winner with any other coach!
Awesome!
Hopefully the coaches get the official one right for tomorrow.

Kudos, Nigel! FOY and 2nd teal all-BE. Sweet.
Zuby was a no-brainer and congrats to Shaheen - SHU was pegged for 11th almost
everywhere you looked.
Nigel go FOY by one vote over Lewis.
