That doesn't seem like enough points unless Pitino's boyz are caught snoozin'.
Then again, it'll be a nice test to see how much better we're really playing lately.
I wouldn't be completely shocked if Marquette pulls this one out tonight.

From your lips to God's ear
I think we could beat a team of St. John's quality at home at this point. I just don't think SJU is that team. Matchup seems really bad for us.
Hope I'm wrong though
I'll be there tonight. First game of the season. Wouldn't shock me if it's close late. I'll try to bring the Magic.
It was Johnnie's -9.5 on Fox Sports and ESPN very early this morning or but it is Johnnie's -8.5 on Both now.
Here's how I'm feeling:
Just put in a bet on St. John's NOT beating us... by more than 15.5. :/

If that scrub Darling had a game like his last one I'll freak. Hope they shoot like crap and we've got a chance.

I agree with this analysis.
I think this is a bounce back game, decided in the last minute. Marquette probably has a lead late in second half. MU to cover and scare St. John's but probably a 3 pt loss
I just think our young guards are going to get overwhelmed in this one. And we have nobody for Zuby.
