If only one scholarship available need to get a big man to go with Sheek. Gave up 17 Offensive rebounds and have no rim protection.
Will be more than one. But yes, a starting big is needed.

Had 4 blocks / Nova 2. Rebounds unfortunately Shaka teams have historically been bad.
A big would be good.
So would a guard.
An elite wing would be great too.
That team would win quicker. But more of the same might win more sustained and longer?
Of course that's assuming the young core all stays...
Tonight showed several things, both positive and negative.
Showed Shaka's positive and negative
Nigel's too, and Adriens, and Royce's (injury's, they happen too)
One thing it definitely showed me is that, given standard trajectory, which unfortunately we've seen is no guarantee with senior shooting under Shaka at Marquette, a team with
Nigel, Adrien, and Royce at the 1/2/4 as a Jr Jr Sr in 2 seasons should be an elite 8 caliber team.
Experience will be there, talent will be there, and I feel like there are enough incoming and current auxiliary parts to make it happen.
Will it? I think so. How? In Shaka we trust?
Let's say Sheek can play center, the question I have are any of the small forwards going to take the next step. Not sold on Phillips or Owens right now, so then there is Militec and the two freshman. If one steps up, they can be pretty good next year. It sounds like Walker can play, so really if they can find one solid rebounder next year, they can be at least top 3 or 4 in the conference
someone over 20 who can play
1. Michael Jordan clone
2. Shaq clone
3. LBJ with his unused NCAA eligibility.
That will do.
1. A gamble
2. Can't shoot free throws
3. Selfish

We've had two teams that theoretically were chalk to elite 8... didn't happen and those had 4 (then 3) draft picks and a ton of experience. And with those teams we didn't have to endure this level of bottom falling out

I believe that Shaka thinks he has addressed shooting with MP, Ian, and Nash.

Unless game is on the line, he will cowardly defer.

I'd like to keep it all in the Big East and take Erhunmwunse from Providence when that staff gets fired, and his two years left at the 5 (allowing Parham to remain at the 4 and taking most of BG's minutes) and then Bizjack from Butler (because why not) and his senior year playing the 2/3 and taking most of Chase's minutes.
