Title: Justin Lewis
Post by: MUHOOPS35 on January 26, 2026, 07:10:32 PM
Was wondering if Justin Lewis would still have eligibility. I know he wasn't drafted and don't believe he has played in NBA game. We have an open scholarship.

After the Baylor and Alabama signings. I'm curious if Justin Lewis would fit in same category.

Justin joined the roster this week, but Shaka is planning to play Caedin over him tomorrow night.

No, he's not eligible. Bediako is still within his 5-year-window which is the justification for his eligibility.

Lewis was a freshman in 2021 & sophomore in 2022. That means 2023, 2024, & 2025 were his five year window. Though in this day & age, especially with a 7-14 record, maybe just play him and let the NCAA sue to say he's ineligible?

But Justin had an ACL injury like Chris Otule who got a sixth year!

Slam dunk case.

Maybe they would just strip our upcoming championship away.

You guys are embarrassing. You are small thinkers. Think big! Let's sue the NCAA and demand that all restrictions be lifted so that even long-time NBA stars can play college ball. Marquette's Dream Team would have Wade and LeBron, reunited, and wearing Marquette unis.
