I feel for Sean. It's Nigel's bday, so let him cook!

I played through tremendous plantar fasciitis pain yesterday in a 15-game, 5 hour tourney. Started off well but basically played on one foot in the back half and sucked terribly, so prob good Sean is sitting.

NBC.. today, much of the nation will ax, "wtf happened to Marquette?!"

Shaka and MU would have been wise to ask NBC to 'flex' out of this game.

Seems that like would be best for all parties involved.

Ahh, what the hell.. maybe we can make a decent showing today. Crazier things have happened (e.g., walking on water; water to wine, raising up from the dead).

GO, GO, D.O.!

Remember in 2023 when Marquette was the only team that beat UConn on a neutral floor that entire season? Man, how this matchup has changed since then...

Line opened at -20.5 yesterday and has for whatever reason lowered to -18.5. A Marquette buddy of mine placed a bet on UConn winning by 35.

Definitely get the sense this will be the biggest loss of the season in terms of point differential.

There's only so much he can do, but I think Hurley likes us enough that he'll chill to a degree, which may 'save' us.

Anyone think there's above 0% chance for a win today

Would love for that. But I also think Hurley respects Marquette as an opponent so much that he won't pull any punches, especially on national television.

Crap. Fair point. OK, had dropped a bunch on UCONN -20.5. Now, adding some $$ on Huskies -29.5. This is sad.

Bad look if he "took it easy " on us. That would suck to see him have pity on his poor cousin. It will be hard to watch this complete game if we don't compete

Who will be better today - GB or MU?

I'm expecting about 38-3 GB LOSS, so there is a small chance MU will be better.

Since Shaka was hired I have not missed watching a single game, either live on tv, recorded, or in-person.

I'll likely watch most of the rest of the games this season but as of now I'm not planning to watch a single second of this one.

If that's how I feel as a big fan I can imagine any casual interest is nearly non-existent.

This sucks.  At least I have a Bears playoff game to look forward to.

I'm in the same spot. Been years since I missed a game. No interest in this one

I thought you and Elon would be sitting courtside in Shaka's family seats.

Hurley probably would show some mercy but we're so bad this year it would destroy their metrics. A close game today could cost them a seed line in March.

If you're inaccurately going to portray me as a "slurper", at least try to do better than that lazy, dimwitted attempt.

The reality is, much like Hamilton, you're not capable of reaching another level.

I'm just cheering for the relationships.

How does Hamilton start again?
