DePaul just passed MU in Kenpom's rankings and is the new worst team in the Big East.

Yeah - We are #119!!!!!
Shocking that Marquette has a 2% to win at UConn. Perhaps the entire UConn starters get food poisoning the day of the game? Would that be the 2%?

Serious question, do you think we could beat UCONN's bench?
Could we beat UCONN's bench ?
Hell no. Not a chance.

How about their walk-ons? Maybe a 4% chance?
Instead of "Blue, Blue !" Shaka could shout
Warriors to encourage the team

I think what you meant to say is that MU is the new worst team in the Big East.
The scope of this collapse is staggering.
The team falls below DePaul and 4 hours before tip off with a top 5 team fans talk more about Derrick Wilson and (rightly) wonder if we could beat the second string in the upcoming game.

As a fan, the next most important date on the calendar is Shaka's post season press conference. I'm truly fascinated to hear what really is happening/happened. Or at least what he is willing to share.
He has no legal, moral or ethical responsibility to tell the fans, but being this is an entertainment business, I think he will feel obligated to pull back the curtain some for PR reasons. Hell, even Jerry Reindorf has done that.
Does anyone have a game/date "circled" between now and the end of the BET?

No game I'm particularly excited for. I am interested to see what happens with Zaide's scholarship. I'm going to be disappointed if it goes to a project.
KenPom Ratings as of this morning (Jan 6)
#106 Xavier
#107 Georgetown
#109 DePaul
#118 Marquette
DePaul hosts Georgetown tonight, and is favored to win
Marquette hosts Xavier tomorrow night, and is only a two-point dog.
If DePaul and Marquette both win the next two days, not an unreasonable assumption, DePaul can jump ahead of three Big East Teams.
Then we can stop saying we are becoming DePaul, and say we are becoming Georgetown.

Confirmed that the new standard for Marquette futility in the Big East is no longer "we're DePaul." It's "we're Georgetown."

And all of this is unacceptable. Confirmation that we have become a low major in one year!

Looks like Marquette is putting a bit of space between Georgetown, Xavier and DePaul.

Is he? It's hard to tell these days (like our friend, WhiteSoxBill). The page looks like 90% legit stuff.

Yes, Rob is part of the PCBC. (providence college burner community) He took over for Simon Charles who doesn't tweet as much anymore.
