We cannot get on track this year, but could certainly find a win tonight.

Absolutely wild that a team that is 11-2 is only favored by 3.5 on the road against a team that has a losing record before January and lost three of its last four by at least 20 points.

Books haven't caught up to us, apparently.

Put your 401K on it and double that thing up.

Not to mention that the 13th best defense in the country is up against a team that has a hard time making uncontested layups.

Said this last night in a different thread, but my guess is that the prediction models have been overestimating MU's home court advantage this season. They haven't seemed to realize yet that this isn't the same environment it was a year ago.

Even through the wojo dark ages, I never felt this sort of apathy towards marquette basketball.

I will prob drive downtown, so as not to waste my season tics, but the only way I see it is how do they lose ?

A. Run off the court
B. Slightly competitive for a bit
( then poor game mgmt etc / Ala GTown )
C.  Or ... can't get a shot off at the end of the game ?

Fan duel has Marquette getting 1.5 points. This seems like a trap.

And I fell for it.

That's my hope. Like Johnny B I had a bundle on Creighton. Got the Hall @ -1, but not so big a bundle tonight. Wouldn't mind losing this one but it's going to have to be a changed MU squad to make that happen.

The Hall is playing well this year, but I still think Marquette has a good shot at winning this one.

What do think is a good shot? 50% , 10%?

I'd say we have an 80%+ chance if any of the following happen

SH team bus gets lost, ends up in Zilwaukee instead of Milwaukee
Cryptosporidium from the Milwaukee water supply from 1993 makes a sudden reappearance in the SH water bottles
Bucks and MU swap unis for tonight only. SH doesn't notice.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dresses and plays in Zaide's uni. Nobody notices because Zaide barely played anyway
Seton Hall is intimidated by our tens of students in attendance, which is still more than they draw

Ouch, that's two of 'em in the same thread. Glad you're back but this is a dangerous trend.
Others, perhaps including myself, will start doing this and, unlikely as it might seem, the quality of the board will suffer.

Better to be concentrating on the Tower Ten.

Ben 2 Bench again = shaka doesn't care about winning.

I can't imagine what will happen when we are good again. I got pregame jitters just now for the first time all year. Maybe because I'm curious how we will respond after the first true adversity, I'm not sure.

It seems too obvious. Just play Ben at the 5 for Caedin and this is our preferred starting 5.

I think so. Until now, RGV seemed feasible. Someone who was seen as a part of the future just left mid year.

For a second there, I actually thought...

Nah who am I kidding, I was never confident in them actually pulling that out. A 13-0 run for Seton Hall in Milwaukee in the final 3 and change...that's embarrassing. Fire him.
