Let's dig deep and give this team all they can handle. It's time to step-up.

Does anyone else's Peacock routinely screw up?  Just says it doesn't work, and then reshows the same ad?

No, it actually won't you piece of crap.

This is not a Hamilton or Parham thing or whatever.    There is no consistent scoring threat in this team.  The defense is weak.  And most of the time it looks like playground pick-up ball.

If I were Purdue in this game, just keep going to the glass.  We foul, can't rebound, and can't block.

We can't make layups.
We can't make 3 pointers.
We can't rebound.
We can't really defend in the half court.

I don't get how Shaka felt comfortable going into this season with this roster.

You can tell the Purdue big practices hook shots.

Hamilton, not so much.

What an absolute embarrassment of a team. Had 3+ years to recruit and backfill the roster and this is what we end up with? This is all on Shaka. Ross is beyond overrated, Gold sucks. Period. We're getting dominated by 7 footers and he doesn't have any confidence in Clark to give him a minute on the floor?? If nothing else to use his 5 fouls.

Think about what we are going to look like next year. Back to back 15+ loss seasons is unacceptable. Pathetic.  EGBs, RGV, Dominoes, Kills...no longer cute. Get in the portal or get out.

Yes. The scary thing is that this is Shaka's first all-Shaka team.  These players can shoot better than they have this year.    Or the scouting is dismal.  But through 10.5 games, they cannot hit shots in games.  Pathetic numbers.  How do you fix?  That's why the coaches get paid .

ZERO FREE throws  FIRST HALF, SHOT 31%  3 of 14  from three - so why do we think we are a three point shooting team?  The announcers just said we are one of the worst 3 point shooting teams in the country.

Believed it would be a closer first half, then the blowout, did not happen. Believed the staff would have them prepared.

Thought Shaka would cut down on the substitutions.  He did not, no consistency with guys playing with each other. Some guys play 3 minutes, then out, then back in with different groups. Not just this game.  Oh well.

The offense is back to his usual three ball, with no one who can hit.  3 for 14, on pace for another 30 three attempt game.

Want to see if Owens gets any minutes, if not he is on the serious doo-doo watch.

Another half. Another showing that leads this team to be on track for a 20-loss season. We have nothing, and that's not an exaggeration.  No shooting, no scoring, no defense.

Smart has been wonderful for four years, but with this squad fully and completely his recruits and entrenched with his program philosophy, it is completely appropriate to question whether he is the right guy to not just fix the roster but be entrusted to rebuild the program.

We aren't a player, two players or three players away.  Majority of this roster is not developed and/or skilled enough to compete at the high-major level. It has completely fallen off.

It's nice to have MU talked about, but not when the topic is: "How do they salvage something?"

I have a new metric, sweat.
Does our team sweat?
The team that sweats the most wins the most.
I'm watching P vs. Butler, a lot of sweating going on.

Hamilton belongs in the Horizon. Clark is a project but at least can impact the game with his size. Zero reason to have both on the roster next year. Need to cut Hamilton.

We need our whole Junior class to leave after the year.

Sean see ya.

Zaide see ya.

Tre see ya.

Then use their spots for the portal and we could be ok. I have zero confidence in that happening. But we need it.

Something went awry with this team's offseason development program. Outside of arguably Chase, no returning player came back better this year than they ended last. And several regressed from last season or, in Sean's case, the last time he was on the court.
