And lousy as Wojo was overall, he did pretty well in it. Even won one at Kohl with a young team in Ryan's 2nd to last game.

Eh. Sure, it's nice to beat Wisconsin but the overall result of a season is much more important than a single rivalry game.

They'll win a conference game. But this is the least talented team at MU since the Dukiet years. Chase Ross as the best player tells you everything.
Doesn't bother me as long as our team is good. Unfortunately it bothers me this year.

The record against one team means almost nothing.. what are u gonna do hire/fire a coach based on the Wisconsin record. What coach would rather have
Coach A: top 25 and tournament 5 straight years but 0-5 vs Bucky
Coach B: bubble team 5 straight years, make tournament 3 of 5 years but 4-1 vs Bucky ?
Talked to Bucky friends this afternoon:
1) First year ever they felt Bucky would have to crap the bed to lose to Marquette
2) "wow, Marquette is really bad"
3) Did not even feel like a rivalry game, more like a "buy" game
4) "a couple of your freshman are good"

Embarrassing we came in as a Q4 game for them. Hope it doesn't hurt our chances scheduling high major home and homes in the near future. We're a potential resume killer. No one wants that.
This is the poorest performing MU team I can remember in a long long time. Somebody better be held accountable. There was posting here that Shaka makes $5 million per year. That seems high, but the results are unacceptable.

I think Shaka wants to win every game. I don't think he puts anything extra into this game vs. a conference game. It's not like Shaka and Gard are recruiting against each other very often. And the ones they are are usually going out of state. Shaka's BIL isn't living rent free in his head like yours is.

you miss the point. Has nothing to do with anything other than ...beating your rival. Think Iowa-Iowa St. Healthy hate. Coaches aren't necessarily recruiting against each other. Different conferences. Same with MU/UW. It's simply...beat your rival. I mean, if you can't get jacked vs RED, who you get fired up for?

If Ross got benched ( I turned it off ), then great. He deserved it. That was an embarrassing decision from a senior.

Of " growth " thus far .... And next week they go to Purdue ( 25 pt loss ) and head into GT where they will likely be home underdogs. In next few weeks they get
UCONN and SJU where they will get obliterated.

Shaka is from not just WI but near Madison. He should understand the rivalry. Does he not, or does he not care?
