Title: FIB City RGL
Post by: DoctorV on November 28, 2025, 04:04:06 PM
1- Swept in a home and home against Dayton, swept in two games in Chicago.
Not how you draw it up. The RGV model is taking a lot of slack, it happens when the V turns to L.

2- Started 5/7 from 3, but this is a poor shooting team. Started well in the 2nd half, but this is a poor finishing team.

3- This years squad seems and plays way younger than it actually is, and that's unfortunate. Everything feels like a battle.

4- When your 2nd best player is a true frosh, under Shaka's model, it's a bit of a problem.

5- Not a huge crowd but a pretty fun atmosphere. My 4 year old had a blast, and had a dream come true moment when he met Iggy and gave him a big hug. The stuff dreams are made of.

6- Unfortunately, he asked to leave with about 4 left. I asked if he was fatigued or just bored, even though he was fully into it and I knew that wasn't the reason.
He just said "baba it's ok if Marquette loses"
Learning adversity as a young age.

7- NBA scout was there for Chase

8- The guys showed some heart, but yet again not enough.

9- Let's win at the Kohl Hole

He's 4, so I will give your boy a pass.

Yeah, we're going to win a true road game against a top 30 team. Funny

Wouldn't be any crazier than them winning here in 2022-23.

.

Brew,

Why is it that Zaide disappears for long stretches and has no variations in his attacks?  We desperately need ZL to make plays.

Ben Gold is becoming less relevant with each game. Needs to figure out how to break out of his shooting funk.

Yep. Anything can happen in rivalry games (yes we're a rival, Bucky!).

He's 33%, but he misses more ungaurded 3s than any D1 player. His wide open miss from the wing with 5 left or so was a killer

Yes, it would.

If I recall correctly, MU was a slight favorite in that game in December. MU was coming off the big win over Baylor, but they still hadn't become the team they would be later in the year.

The Badgers should be favored by double digits. They are a high scoring team with significantly better talent and experience.

I expect them to beat MU by 20 or more.

Look at his 3-point stats in the games against non-cupcakes. Especially the last two. He's regressing.

He's 10-for-19 inside the arc this season.
Given that he doesn't shoot mid-range jumpers ... yikes.
