Harris should be fired if
A. He doesn't sign Skubal
B. He pays too much for Skubal
C. He trades Skubal
D. He doesn't trade Skubal
E. Any or all of the above
So, whatever Harris does with Skubal is wrong, because look what happened when the Lions did the same with (X)
And how it applies to Shaka and the portal.

I was a bit young, but I remember reading about it in my 20s when the Blackhawks had their run cause my friend's quinticesstial south side Chicago dad was waxing poetically about how the Red Wings were the most delusional fans in at least hockey if not sports. When Bowman was hired, they hadn't made a Stanley Cup final in 30 years, made only 2 conference finals in that time period and not for 7-8 years, and spend most of the 80s wallowing in mediocrity. But because they won a bunch of Stanley Cups, they still had a superiority complex. So even though they brought in a coach with 6 Stanley Cups between 2 franchises who took them to higher levels in 94-96 than they had been in decades...they needed/deserved/wanted better cause he couldn't win a Stanley Cup. Just wild.
I get why Red Wings fans feel/expected the way they did in the 2000s/2010s cause the 35 years after Bowman arrived were successful as hell, but at the time it was delusional.
