Sounds like they're anticipating more fouls called.  Just what basketball needs.  More whistles, more choppiness, more marches to the free throw line, longer games.  Just like the NBA where free throw attempts are up by 6 attempts per game (granted, very small sample size).  Everyone wants to see free throw shooting contests.

This quote perfectly captures why the last couple months of the 2024-25 season were a struggle: I think you saw 2 anomalies happen at the same time with Kam and Jop in Big East play. It wasn't like they were taking more difficult shots. It was tough that it happened to 2 guys at the same time.

Really looking forward to seeing Caedin and Nigel, based on everything Nevada and Shaka have said.

Probably some weary legs on Kams part being the full time point guard.  Needed a healthy SJ to take some of that responsibility away.  Oh well,  crap happens.  Need to get lucky with injuries and be deep enough as a team to overcome it.  Nice to have two good ball handlers this year.
